Something is calling you to get uncomfortable. Something is calling you to step out of the anesthetized way of doing stuff.

The fact you’re reading this tells me that you’ve started your spiritual quest towards personal mastery (even if you don’t know it). Maybe you do know it! And have leaped several times before.

No matter where you are in your spiritual path, calls to adventure are the norm. They come to you because you need to catch up with who you have become. Travelling the spiritual quest is like travelling with two YOU’s. One is enthusiastically leaping into the future and the other one is carefully assessing the reality. The first one is your BIG self and the second one is your LITTLE self.

Your BIG self knows. He knows which steps to take: write a book, increase your prices, stop with that business partner, be mentored by that person, take that “scary” project… He knows that it will not go wrong. It can never go wrong.

Your LITTLE-self fears. Your LITTLE-self is reality restricted. He fears to let go of those unproductive customers, not being good enough for your ideal customers, to let go of those non-sense projects, to express in black and white your ideas (who do you think you are to be an expert/write a book/ give a lecture???), to let go of those useless endless meetings, to write history through a truly meaningful project (I can do it later)

To listen to the guidance of your BIG Self is scary as hell. His voice is always calling you for change. Change is scary. Change threatens your brain programming. Change threatens your identity. Change threatens your comfort. Even if change is for the good, your good, or the good for other people. Change is scary. Change is uncomfortable. Change is expansive.

Have you ever fallen in love? Head over hills in love? Remember! Then, love was expansive! So expansive that we never thought about how inconvenient, uncomfortable, scary it was. This is indeed the way for your LITTLE-self to catch up with your BIG Self. I like to call it Spiritual Technology. Why? Because it works! It consistently works, ALL the time.

Take the guidance of your BIG self that you fear the most. Observe it. Accept it. Look at it. Play with the possibility. Imagine yourself in that scenario. Imagine yourself (writing that book, accepting that you’re a healer, quitting your job…). Feel the liberation, the ecstasy of knowing. Feel the exhilaration of deeply knowing that nothing can go wrong, that indeed you’re in the right path, that you’re fully supported and protected, that you’re more powerful than you have ever thought before.

Play with this. Be gentle with yourself. Write this visualization. Sing this visualization. Paint this visualization. Create a collage with it. Exercise becoming the expanded version of you. Before you know it, you’ll have the love, the courage to take the necessary step towards your expansion. Before you know it, you took the call towards greatness. Before you know it, you´ll be embodying greatness.

It’s not magic! It’s your very own power.

When you decide that you’ll make the impossible possible, you open a world of possibilities. The best mantra to make the impossible a reality is,

How can I?

Whenever a “yes, but” attacks you again, just ask “how can I? Repeat and repeat and repeat this recipe. Become obsessive about finding the easiest path. Become obsessive about welcoming the support that you need. Become obsessive about getting this answer given to you. Until you fall in love with the unfolding of the answers, until you see your business yielding to you, until you see your lifework become an everyday reality.

You might not be aware of it. You might even deny it. But your very own actions, your very own reasons are sabotaging the financial rewards that you deserve. There are so many reasons why you do not charge (nor cash) what you are worth, specially being a heart centered entrepreneur. Reasons such as,
-    People won’t pay
-    I need more experience
-    I need to have more fame / followers / friends
-    I need to have more credibility / social proof / success stories
-    I cannot earn more than my husband / wife / father / in my corporate job…
-    My customers don’t have enough money
-    I’m not good enough
-    I need to write a book
-    It’s not ethical to overcharge
-    I’m not doing this for the money (money is evil)
-    I don’t want to become rich (arrogant, unkind, corrupt, fraudulent, non-heart-centered, etc.)
-    Who do I think I am to charge more?
-    Can I really deliver value to my customers?
-    The global financial crisis

Blame, fear, guilt and other painful believes are hiding behind all these “reasons”. They do not allow us to see our true potential. They don’t allow us to see the true potential of our customers.

When we give discounts, give things for free, lower our price and other ways we steal from ourselves, we are telling the Universe that,
-    what we do (your Divine gift to this world) is not valuable
-    our customers are not Divine, in other words that they do not have access to attract all they need
-    we are making real both statements

How can you get out of this conundrum?

There is just one, one, one thing to do. You need to go back to square one and truly, honestly, open heartedly answer the question

Why did I open this business?

Don’t tell me that you were looking for freedom. Don’t tell me that you were looking for money. Don’t tell me that you were looking for world peace. Let’s get real about it. Why did I open this business?

You opened your business for a very specific reason: your soul purpose. You opened your business for a very specific kind of person: your ideal customer. You opened your business for a very specific reason: to heal that specific pain that you ideal customer has. How do you heal his/her pain? with your unique secret potion made out the live experiences that make you the unique individual person who you are.

Stop right now belittling yourself! belittling service! belittling your customers! belittling yourself!

Your life story, your disappointments, your blessings, your story, the language(s) you speak, your parents…. ALL you are is what makes you so attractive, profitable and unique in the market place. All you are is the specific non-replicable transformational experience that your ideal customer craves. Value what you’re bringing to the market. Value how the life of your customer is transformed after working with you. That is why you opened this business

Stop stealing from yourself. Remember why you opened your business. Remember what you’re bringing to the market place. Remember how you’re changing lives. Can you now verbalize your worth? Do you have more peace about setting your prices to the level of the worth of your product?

Stop stealing from yourself! Value Your Value!

1. Visualize. Every morning before you wake up connect with the vision of how life will be when you’ll enjoying the “top”. Imagine how you will feel when you reach the success that you ambition. Who you are talking to. What you are wearing. What the temperature of the room is. What colors you see. What smell you perceive. Try to make your visualization as sensorial as possible. Observe it all as if it was true now. Every day you will receive new information on details of your project that will ease your decision making. Every day your confidence and certainty on the success of your project will grow. To make your visualization successful it is of utmost importance that you enjoy it! Immerse yourself in your image of success, let it sink, let it grow in you, every morning, every morning, every morning.

2. Upside down planning. Don’t plan with the vision of getting done all what is in your to-do list. Plan up side down. Start with the vision of what you want to see happening in 5 years. Describe it in detail. Specially describe which variables give evidence of your success. Then start thinking backwards. What would need to happen in 4 years, in 3 years, in 2 years, this year, this 6 months, this quarter, this month, this week, today. You’ll be amazed that the daily actions that you’ll end up with will be easy and comfortable. If you really divide the BIG task in tiny manageable steps, you’ll climb the mountain with ease and joy.

3. Ask for help. At some point in your planning, it’s possible that you get stuck on something you don’t know how to do or you don’t want to do. This is the time to create an intention. Ask for the Universe to take care of that. You’ll see people appearing in your path with the answer. Don’t let them just pass! Grab the opportunity! We are in the age of interconnectedness. You alone cannot produce the transformation that you want to see in the world. You need to cooperate with others. Others will be able to support you with the things that you’re not good at and still need to be done. More importantly invest yourself in the relevant mentor for you. See in which area of your spiritual bootcamp you need help: beliefs, fear, strategy, tactics… Accept that you need help, see your mentor appear in your experience and take a leap, yes, invest in yourself. I can tell you investing in the right mentor changed my entire life. I’m eternally grateful and you guessed it, I shall always have a mentor.

4. Take risks / Build new habits. Positive thinking is not enough. If you want other results, you have to take different actions. Not just invest money in a mentor, invest yourself, invest your time, your courage, your actions. Take serious your mentor´s advice. Take action. The only way to build new habits is by taking action. Habits are chronic actions. Keep repeating and repeating and repeating (did I say repeating?) actions that expand your comfort zone, expand your spirit and honor your abundance.

5. Celebrate. Let go of words like “amazing”, “miracle”, “incredible”. When you consistently follow the first 4 steps you’ll see your life and business transform before your very eyes.  You’ll be tempted to be surprised. Well! Get used to it! You’re now living your lifework! You should celebrate your successes, but don’t label them impossible. Because they are your new normal. Celebrate it all! Celebrate when your results are different from your expectations. Both if they are above or below your expectations. Celebrate the journey! That is your quest!

So, this is the way I keep my smile every single day. I see it. I plan it. I ask for help. I take new risks. I celebrate!

BUT we don’t take action.

We do not do it for “practical” reasons,

We don’t have time
There are other priorities to attend
We don’t have enough money
We pretend not to know what we should be doing
We are not ready (too old, too young, a woman, a man, gay, nationality x, y or z…)
They will not let me
They will criticize me

All those very practical reasons are nothing else but beliefs. What are beliefs? Chronic thoughts! These thoughts generate a common emotion: fear. This fear paralyzes you every time you want to actually go beyond those beliefs and take action.

I have suggested before to you to have a conversation with your fear. It works! I’ve seen amazing results. But there is more!
Forget about your practical reasons. Forget about those beliefs. Forget about your fear. Forget about why not. Instead, remember why yes. Remember why you should be doing what you should be doing. Remember what it is that motivates you. Remember that which is calling you to expand your comfort zone. Remember what is that which is calling you to become the Highest and Biggest version of yourself.

The Highest and Biggest version of yourself sees the possibilities. The Highest and Biggest version of yourself knows the certainties that surround your “impossibilities”; the certainties that make your “impossibilities” possible. The Highest and Biggest version of yourself knows that there´s nothing amazing or miraculous about your desires (AND achievements). They are normal, reasonable and above all POSSIBLE.
Remember why you are doing what you are doing. Remember why you deserve what you dream. Remember that it has always worked out what you wanted when you were connected with your big YOU. Remember,

Why did you start this business?
What did you dream when you were a child?
What do you want your legacy to be after you die?
What gives you fire in your belly, sing under the shower, feel invincible and timeless?

Connect with that fire in your belly! Remember, it’s there at your fingertips. It’s right here. Remember!
